Butterhead Lettuce
Lactuca sativa (Butterhead)
Butterhead lettuce forms beautiful, loose rosette heads with soft, velvety leaves that have a delicate, buttery texture and sweet, mild flavor. The tender leaves are perfect for wraps, salads, and as a bed for other dishes. One of the most prized lettuce types for its melt-in-your-mouth quality. Grown fresh in our greenhouse.
Kingpin Lettuce
Lactuca sativa (Romaine)
Kingpin is a robust romaine lettuce variety known for its tall, upright heads with crisp, dark green outer leaves and a pale, tender heart. It offers excellent crunch and a mild, slightly sweet flavor — perfect for Caesar salads, wraps, and sandwiches. Grown fresh in our greenhouse.
Kremlin Looseleaf Lettuce
Lactuca sativa (Looseleaf)
Kremlin Looseleaf is a striking red-burgundy lettuce with beautifully ruffled, tender leaves. It adds gorgeous color and a mild, slightly sweet flavor to salads and garnishes. This looseleaf variety is easy to harvest — simply pick outer leaves as needed for a continuous supply. Grown fresh in our greenhouse.

All of our produce is grown right here at Hamby Lane in our greenhouse, without pesticides or harsh chemicals. We believe in growing food the way nature intended — with healthy soil, clean water, and plenty of sunshine. Our lettuce is harvested fresh and available for pickup by appointment.
